The 2025 IMRA Match Race Nationals will take place from September 12–14, proudly hosted by the National Yacht Club. This flagship event will bring together Ireland’s top match racing talent for a thrilling showdown in J80s supplied by the Irish National Sailing School (INSS).
Up to 12 skippers will receive invitations, based on the following selection criteria:
Most recent IMRA National Champion
Current Student Champion
Winner and runner up of qualifier 2, 3 & 4. If a skipper finishing 1st or 2nd has already received an invitation, the invite shall be extended to the next placed skipper at the event and so on
Next top 3 on the Qualifier leaderboard outlined in section 8.2 Series Scoring
1 Wild card given at the discretion of IMRA
